Bugs Bunny

“What’s up doc?” Utter those three words and immediately Bugs Bunny comes to mind. Warner Bros. head hare has thrilled audiences for decades with his animated antics. Totally irrelevant and the ultimate wise guy, Bugs Bunny proves that being a smart mouth is the only way to go.

In the new Looney Tunes: The Essential Bugs Bunny 2-disc DVD collection Warner Bros. has compiled the “best of the best” Bugs Bunny cartoons including the first time he utters his famous catchphrase, “What’s up doc?’

Follow Bug’s escapades as he baffles Elmer Fudd, confuses Porky Pig and infuriates and frustrates his feathered foe, Daffy Duck. For the first time on DVD you’ll see archived Bugs Bunny appearances on TV shows, TV specials and animated shorts.

Look for Marvin The Martian, Yosemite Sam, and other memorable Warner Bros. animated lunatics as envisioned by such animation greats as Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Friz Freleng and Tex Avery.

Bugs Bunny was, and is, Warner Bros. answer to Disney’s Mickey Mouse. Only their rodent was/is a far cry from the sweet mouse that was/is Disney’s star. Bugs was/is brash, sassy, sarcastic and satirical and we love him! “What’s up doc?” Bugs Bunny that’s what!
